Change current settings of an existing file request

1. Click in the left sidebar on File requests.
2. Highlight Sie the file request whose settings you want to change and click in the right sidebar on Edit:
3. The Edit File Request dialog box opens, displaying the previous settings of the file request. Change them as desired.       If you want to change settings other than the expiration date and password, click ‍More Settings. After that, the More Settings dialog box appears, where you can change the rest of the file request settings.  Info about the individual settings
4. In the Edit File Request dialog box, click Save to activate the new file request settings.

If you set a new password in the file request settings and do not send it by SMS in the settings, you must tell the intended file share users the password, because otherwise they will not be able to use the file request anymore.

3. Highlight the file request whose notification setting you want to change.
   Note: For file requests where a notification is currently active, a bell icon is displayed in the file request list:
4. Click Enable Notification or Disable Notification in the right sidebar to enable (if it was not previously active) or disable (if it was previously active) notification for the file request.
   With notification enabled, the file request creator receives an email each time a file is uploaded via the file request.
   If a share is used unexpectedly often, or if many files are uploaded via it at once, the many notification emails can become annoying - in this case it may be useful to deactivate the notification again.
