Problem
Share links inserted in e-mail messages with DRACOON for Outlook do not work for the recipient. The share links point to an invalid address (e.g. dataspaceshare_0) and not to the actual share page. Consequently, the mail recipients cannot access the share via the sent link and thus cannot use it.
Solution
The problem is fixed from DRACOON for Outlook versions 5.3.5 (LTS version for on-premises customers) and 5.5.1 (for customers of DRACOON Cloud). Please download the new versions and install it to fix the problem.
Technical background
This is a known problem in DRACOON for Outlook versions 5.3.4 and 5.5. The problem did not occur in earlier versions of DRACOON for Outlook.
The cause of the problem is that the temporary share link, which is inserted in the mail draft (more info), is not converted to the final release link when the mail is sent.
The problem shows up only when Exchange cache mode has been disabled for the affected account in Outlook.
