System Requirements

Software

The Web client is a Java application that requires a Tomcat application server to operate.

• Apache Tomcat 7 (http://tomcat.apache.org)

Hardware

There are no special requirements for the hardware used. The components can be operated on any standard commercial x86 server. 

Scalability and Redundancy

For scalability, either the hardware resources of the relevant server, such as the CPU and RAM, can be increased, or additional servers with this component can be installed in parallel and controlled using a load balancer.

If a redundant setup is required, it is sufficient to install additional servers with this component and control them using a load balancer.
