About this release
Version 6.7 of DRACOON for Outlook for DRACOON cloud users contains two improvements and one bug fix.
New features and improvements
NewSupport for upcoming classification-dependent password policy for shares
On the DRACOON cloud, the configuration manager will soon be able to specify a global new policy: It will determine whether shares must be password-protected if the file has a certain classification level (such as "confidential" or higher). The new version 6.7 of DRACOON for Outlook will automatically support this policy when it will become available in the DRACOON Web App.
ImprovedShare password policies are applied when sending share links now also from encrypted data rooms
Until now, DRACOON for Outlook has always applied the policies for decryption passwords to share passwords as soon as at least one share link to an encrypted file was sent in an email. In the new version 6.7, the policies for share passwords are now generally applied to all share passwords as in the other DRACOON clients—regardless of whether sending encrypted or unencrypted files.
Bug fix
- Version 6.7 of DRACOON for Outlook fixes one problem that could occur in previous versions: When the Shares or File Requests dialog box was opened from within the Outbox, buttons for inserting links that could not be used in this context were displayed in the dialog box.
