What is "Request files"?
With the Request files command, you can make a certain folder or data room from DRACOON available to other people in Microsoft Teams for uploading files if they are not set up in DRACOON as users or don't have access rights for the data room or folder in DRACOON. DRACOON for Teams automatically creates a file request link for uploading files to the data room or folder and inserts it into a channel conversation or chat message in Teams.
- You can password protect a file request so that only people who know the associated password can use the file request link to upload.
- Numerous settings are available for file requests. For example, you can set an expiration date, which allows files to be uploaded to the relevant data room or folder only for a limited amount of time.
Who can request files?
You need the Manage file requests permission in the relevant data room to be able to create a file request for it or for a folder in the data room.
