Under Settings > Security Configuration Managers can define the global security settings of DRACOON.
Client-side encryption
With this setting you can allow client-side encryption of files in DRACOON, which enables higher security for files. Once you have enabled this, it cannot be disabled later.
More information: Allow client-side encryption in DRACOON
Two-step user authentication
This setting can be used to make two-step user authentication mandatory for all users.
More information: Require all users to use two-step authentication
Guest user
With this setting, you, as the configuration manager, can allow room administrators to invite Guest user to their rooms. If a new guest user is invited in such a way, which does not exist so far in DRACOON, it is added thereby automatically as new guest user to DRACOON and can be deleted later if necessary by the user manager again from DRACOON.
If you want to allow room administrators to add guest users, enable the following switch under Settings > Security:
Subsequent deactivation of the guest user setting
If up to now guest users were permitted and already some exist in DRACOON, these remain if you deactivate the above slider and thus terminate the addition of further guest users. Deactivating the slider therefore does not affect already existing guest users - they can continue to use DRACOON unchanged.
