The colored dots next to the connection entries in the DRACOON for Windows/Mac menu show the connection status of the respective drive connection (bookmark):
- No dot: The drive is not connected and therefore not visible in File Explorer (Windows) or the Finder (Mac). The user may have disconnected the drive because it is not currently needed. The connection can be re-established by pointing to the connection entry and clicking Connect in the submenu.
- Orange dot: The drive is mounted, but can currently be used offline. No active Internet connection to the respective DRACOON server is required to display the drive contents. This is possible because the information required to display the folder contents has already been synchronized to the PC/Mac and is available offline in a cache.
The orange dot automatically changes to green as soon as an Internet connection is required and has been established to display certain folder contents. - Green dot: The drive is mounted and an Internet connection with the respective DRACOON server is active. This is the usual, most frequent status.
