Why doesn't DRACOON for Windows notify me about updates?

By default, DRACOON for Windows checks for new updates once a day.

The following prerequisites must be fulfilled for the update check to be performed:

1. In Preferences, the check box Automatically check for updates in must be selected, and in the dropdown field to the right, Release must be selected as the distribution channel:
   
2. You must have administrator rights in Windows. If you do not have administrator rights, you will not be informed about updates even if the setting above is enabled, because an update for DRACOON for Windows cannot be installed without administrator rights. In this case, contact your IT department so that the latest update is deployed as an MSI file and is automatically on client PCs.
