About this release

Version 4.28.2 of DRACOON Core was rolled out on the DRACOON cloud on July 7, 2021 and replaces the previous version 4.27.1.

Bug fixes, API deprecations, and API documentation improvements

Version 4.28.2 of DRACOON Core contains several bug fixes—for example, if the authentication method of a new user was changed from Active Directory or OpenID Connect to "Local user" (authenticate at DRACOON's own user directory), an incorrect initial login password was displayed in the user's welcome mail.

In the API, customerAttributes for Customer and userAttributes for UserData and UserItem have been deprecated—we recommend using the APIs explicitly provided for this purpose instead (see the technical release notes below to learn more).

Finally, some corrections were made to the API documentation (Swagger).
