About this release
Version 4.5 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac contains internal improvements (e.g. clearer feedback in DRACOON for Windows when uploading if there is no more free space in a data room) and bug fixes.
Changed behavior in case of missing delete permission in data rooms
In version 4.5 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac, a data room is now opened read-only if the user has no delete permission in the data room.
A restart of the PC is required after installing this update.
The update to this version is recommended for all users of DRACOON for Windows/Mac.
Bug fixes
The following problems have been fixed in version 4.5 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac:
Most of these problems only occurred in specific cases, e.g. under certain exceptional circumstances. The vast majority of users were not affected.
- Synchronization is not completed in certain cases.
SDS-976 BUG
- When saving a Photoshop file on a Mac, a copy of the file under a new name is created instead of overwriting the existing file.
SDS-999 BUG
- When saving a file, the previous version is created as a copy with a new file name instead of overwriting the existing file. The problem occurs only if folders had been renamed previously.
SDS-1115 BUG
- When copying a folder structure via Copy & Paste, subfolders are not copied in certain cases.
SDS-1100 BUG
- File locking may not work on a Mac with sync turned off.
SDS-1102 BUG
- The modification date of files may not be set correctly when synchronization is turned off. The problem only affects on-premises environments (DRACOON release LTS 2019-1).
SDS-1112 BUG
- When trying to save a file in a data room whose space limit is reached (no more free space), a file with 0 KB size is created and the user does not receive any feedback about the problem.
SDS-1119 BUG
- When saving a file in a data room where the user does not have the Delete files and folders permission, an error occurs and the user does not receive any feedback about the cause of the problem.
SDS-1120 BUG
- Establishing a connection fails with the error message "Java.lang.ArrayIndexSystemOutOfBoundaryException".
SDS-1133 BUG
- The DRACOON status icon in the taskbar (Windows) or menu bar (Mac) is displayed dimmed after disconnecting a DRACOON drive although another connection is still established.
SDS-1108 BUG
