About this release

Version 4.0.2 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac fixes the problem that the File Explorer reacts very slowly and causes considerable delays when working with files in File Explorer, which occurred on some PCs.

Because this problem was caused by querying previous file versions, in this release, we have temporarily removed the Direct access to previous file versions in the file shortcut menu feature, which was introduced in version 4.0. It will be reincluded in a later release in a revised version.

The update to this version is recommended for all previous users of DRACOON for Windows 4.0 who have experienced significant delays in File Explorer.

Please note: After installing the update, the PC must be restarted.

Bug fix

The following problem has been fixed in version 4.0.2 of DRACOON for Windows/Mac:

• The Windows File Explorer reacts very slowly, and there are sometimes delays of up to one minute.  SDS-965 BUG
