Please note:
This information is especially relevant for administrators. This page describes the possibilities of deploying DRACOON for iOS via an MDM system.
Version 5.2 of DRACOON for iOS supports MDM systems that are compatible with AppConfig (https://www.appconfig.org). AppConfig is an association of many well-known MDM manufacturers to establish a common standard. To find out whether your system is compatible with this standard, please refer to its manufacturer information.
With an AppConfig-compatible MDM system, you can import the DRACOON app via the public AppStore and distribute it to your users. Please refer to your system's documentation for details on this procedure.
In addition to a protected rollout to your users, you can pass the following parameter via the AppConfig "App Configuration" and thus provide a preconfigured App:
serverURL
Set this parameter to the valid URL of your DRACOON. If this value is set, your users will no longer be asked which DRACOON environment they want to connect to. Furthermore, at the first start of the app (and not after login), the customized branding is loaded from the stored environment if a correctly configured branding service was found there.
Please refer to the documentation of the respective manufacturer for details on the configuration of your MDM system in order to transfer parameters to an app delivered via it.
