Top bar

The Web Client’s top bar contains links to help, your user profile, and logout. Additionally, the entire data space can be searched using the search field.

Dashboard

The Dashboard displays an overview of the current status of your DRACOON in addition to links to frequently used features (that can also be accessed via the Toolbar).

Toolbox

The Toolbox gives access to all administrative tasks needed to manage DRACOON:

When necessary, the Toolbox can be hidden by clicking so that more room is available for the Data Room Overview. This setting remains even after logging out. To show the Toolbox again, simply click on again.

The Toolbox doesn’t always display all links as shown above – this is dependent on the roles that have been defined for a logged-in user. For example, the entry System Log only appears for users that are in the role of the Log Auditor, while the entry System Preferences is only available to users in the role of the Config Manager.

Data Room Overview

Via the Data Room Overview, users can access the Data Rooms which they are authorized to access:

If a Data Room contains subordinate Data Rooms, this is illustrated by the amount of subordinate Data Spaces as a number in parentheses behind the Data Room Description – “(1)” in the screenshot above.

If client-side encryption is activated for a Data Room, this is illustrated by the lock symbol (as is visible for example for the Data Room “Company Management” in the screenshot above).
