About this release
Version 5.10 of DRACOON for Android was released on October 28, 2020 in Google Play Store and replaces the previous version 5.9.
Improvement
- Support for the updated client-side encryption (use of keys of length 4096 bit instead of 2048 bit): Version 5.10 of DRACOON for Android now supports 4096-bit keys for the client-side encryption, which ensures secure encryption for the long term. The new keys will be available with version 4.26 of DRACOON Core and version 6.0 of the DRACOON Web App. However, version 5.10 of DRACOON for Android continues to support the previously used 2048 bit file keys—the recognition of the used key length is done automatically and requires no intervention by end-users or administrators.
Minor improvements and bug fixes
- Version 5.10 of DRACOON for Android includes some minor improvements, e.g. when entering the decryption password before up- and downloads, and bug fixes.
